About Overcap
We build the chat-and-analytics tool we wished existed for our own small businesses.
The story
We were paying $80/mo for chat, $90/mo for heatmaps, and another $30 for session replay — three separate tools with three separate dashboards, three different pricings, three different support emails. So we built one. It started as a weekend hack, we got tired of context-switching, and now you can use it too.
What we believe
- •Tools should disappear. A chat widget is good when nobody notices it's there until they need it.
- •Pricing should be honest. Per-message billing is a dark pattern. We charge for seats and conversation volume, period.
- •Privacy by default. We mask form inputs, respect Do Not Track, and store data in EU.
- •Speed matters. The widget is <55 KB. Heatmap overlay renders in milliseconds. We're not going to slow your site down.
